1. About Simple Bills
Simple Bills is a personal bill organization and reminder service operated by Bothbrothers.com, a jointly owned project operated by its founders, with an operational contact point in Ovalle, Chile. Contact: notifications@simple-bills.com.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.
3. What Simple Bills does
Simple Bills helps you organize bills, due dates, categories, reminders and user-recorded payment information. It is not a bank, bill-payment processor, financial adviser, legal adviser or tax adviser. Simple Bills does not pay bills on your behalf. You remain responsible for verifying amounts, due dates and payment status with each provider.
4. Reminders and availability
We work to provide reliable reminders and service availability, but we cannot guarantee that every notification will arrive on time or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not rely on Simple Bills as your only method for avoiding late payments.
5. Premium Lifetime
When offered at USD $12.99, Premium Lifetime is a one-time purchase that provides access to eligible Premium features while Simple Bills continues to offer the product or service, subject to these Terms and applicable law. “Lifetime” does not mean that the service must operate forever or that every feature must remain unchanged indefinitely.
6. Payments
Premium purchases are processed by PayPal. Simple Bills does not need to store your complete card or bank-account details to process the purchase. PayPal transactions are also subject to PayPal's applicable terms and policies.
7. Refunds
You may request a refund for an eligible Premium purchase within 5 days after purchase. Requests are subject to our Refund Policy, applicable law, and reasonable protections against fraud, abuse, duplicate refunds and chargebacks.
8. Referral Program
When the referral program is available, a user may earn Premium Lifetime after five distinct referred users complete eligible Premium Lifetime purchases through the user's referral link. Only completed PayPal purchases count. Once granted, the referral Premium benefit is not automatically revoked because a referred user later stops using Simple Bills or receives a legitimate refund. We may review, withhold or reverse referral benefits in cases of fraud, abuse, coordinated chargebacks, self-referrals or manipulation of the program.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Simple Bills for unlawful activity, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, abuse the service or use it in a way that harms other users or our systems.
10. Suspension or termination
We may limit, suspend or close an account for material violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risks or legal requirements. Where reasonable, we will try to provide notice.
11. Intellectual property
Simple Bills software, branding, design and original content remain the property of their respective owners. Using the service does not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Simple Bills is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for losses caused solely by inaccurate information entered by a user, third-party delays, notification failures or financial decisions made solely in reliance on the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Privacy, changes and governing law
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms as the service, law or our practices change and will post the updated date here. These Terms are interpreted under applicable Chilean law without limiting mandatory consumer or privacy rights that may apply where you live.
